New Bulgarian Government step into power
In
May 2017 the center-right GERB party, the winner of Bulgaria’s parliamentary
elections in March, formed a Government confirming the new (old) Prime
Minister, Boyko Borisov. The Government was formed under coalition between GERB
and the United Nationalists’ party.
The
main priorities of the new Government are economic boost, social equality and
solution to the demography problem of the country. In the first public appearances
of the PM, Mr. Borisov confirmed that core aim of the mandate shall be further economy
growth by improving the business environment and increasing of the investments
in the local economy.
